Could this be a hernia???

I am a 62 year old female.I am overweight.... especially stomach. I have had this lump inside my stomach about 2 inches above my navel for about 20 months. Bulge outside. It does not hurt but may tug or burn a little at times. It does not seem to push back it (although I can't see it) or go away some when I lie down. It seems to be close to the skin but is not hard or soft to me. It is bigger than a grape but not as big as a golf ball. Does bother me when I press on it. I have no other symptoms. It seems to be getting a little bigger. Any suggestions as to what this is? TYIA :confused:

Hi kmmtsl,

With the burning and such it could very well be a hernia. You should have it looked at. They can tear and burn and get bigger requiring surgery. Please be seen to be sure.
