I had disc repair (l-4-5, s-1-2) and multiple level laminectomies in lumbar region in 1988. No real problems until all pain, numbness and sciatic pain bilateral returning around 1996. I have a question of a post surgical (1988) odd sensation in my anal sphincter. since surgery whenever I move my two small toes in any direction, or put pressure on them while standing or walking my anal sphincter very slightly spasms and here is the strange part with a sensation that actually feels good (ticklish). I have been somewhat embarrased to ask a DR. even though I am a RN. please explain this... ty
