Hello Drs Joshua and Sinhue:

Thank you for offering this venue to ask for assistance. I have been fighting chronic, increasing pain, for several years which has been attributed to Fibromyalgia. My history of: DVTs, SVTs, PE, Bell's X4, Sinusitis, no sensation vaginally or when urinating, intercostal infections, yeast infections (vaginally and orally), miscarriage X5, eclampsia with HELLP syndrome, orbital pseudotumor, neuropathy (feet), back spasms, high blood pressure, vertigo, migraines and etc. have resulted in an off and on diagnosis of Behcet's Disease (off because my vaginal and oral ulcers are rare, I believe). And I just plain get sick a lot, not terribly, but consistently.

The most recent issues have been the neuropathy in my feet and the return of frequent back spams. My doctors (whom I respect and appreciate) are treating each symptom as it comes along.

Here is the question: Should I stop asking for a diagnosis that addresses my issues or continue to address each symptoms (when possible)? I cannot help but feel that my body is communicating a lack of homeostasis that should be addressed. I know my doctors are busy and have many other patients but I honestly want more than a great talk and refills.

Thank you for your time,
Laenake

I'm sure you have researched Behcet's , it is a symtomatic and supportive condition and can effect the body in many ways. As far as your back I hope your Dr. has done an MRI of it. Good Luck.
