Kidney pain

I have had kidney stones before so I am familiar with kidney pain. I went to the doctor and the urine tests were clean. My blood test showed relatively low BASO % and high MONO %. The monospot test was negative. My left kidney hurts like hell, but there were no signs of a kidney stone. What could this be?

Low basophil count could indicate acute infection. High monocyte is often associated with infection and inflammatory conditions. Flank pain is not limited to kidney stones. Kidney abscess, kidney infection and problems with the spine may also cause this symptom.
