I am female and 47. I have weakness in my left leg and have been progressivly having more pain walking. I also have occasional pain in my left knee. An MRI reveals a pinched nerve at L2.
My neurologist would like me to have a myelogram. I am deathly afraid of the epidural involved. 15 years ago in childbirth I had a bad reaction. My bp dropped dramatically and it did not take for pain relief. Should I have the myelogram or try PT again? I did it for six weeks last fall and got little relief. I am also considering VAX traction with a chiropractor.
