vomit with blood

Hi, can i ask why is my mother vomit with blood and dysentery? Not in the same time but both happening right now. In the hospital the doctor said that my mother had a liver disease and in her liver there is a cancer. I ask about liver or cancer biopsy, the doctor said is not good to do a liver biopsy cause it can damage the liver and can danger my mother, so the doctor just do a blood test on my mother. I fear that the doctor do a malpractice on my mother, but how will i know cause am only a regular person who know about this on the internet....please help me, my mother now very weak she can't even get up from bed and the doctor keep giving her weird medicine that i do not know what is for...:crying:

In patients with liver failure, the blood clotting mechanism may be disrupted, the platelets (the blood cells that play an important role in blood clotting) is usually decreased in liver dysfunction, and the bleeding time is prolonged, this could result in bleeding.

Problems with blood coagulation are contraindications to liver biopsy:

Maybe the doctor just ordered blood test to check the levels of platelets and to check the bleeding time. These could help them in managing your mom's condition.
