Burning throat

Hi Doctor and Staff

I have a question regarding my throat. My throat has been burning and it feels like I want to scrath it go inside and scrath it I mean crazy huh?

I have had espoghal ulcers in the past. I haven't had a scope done for three years though.

I am on Lamictal, Atenolol, Protonix, Zoloft, and Abilify could any of these be causing my throat to burn? I constantly want to swallow and it just hurts like hell.

It feels better when I drink something cold! Also it comes and goes But I do have trouble getting my pills down it feels like they are stuck in my esophagus.

Should I talk to my doctor about having another scope done??

If you could please give me some advice I would really appreciate it, I have my only older brothers wedding to stand up in June 9th this next weekend. So I hope I am not bothered by this.

Hi,

Sorry your having this discomfort. Since you have had ulcers in the past you probably should be seen esp. with this difficulty swallowing and burning.
Each medication you can search by the search bar at top of forum to see side effects.
