Hi,
These images are beyond my expertise to interpret. I see the changes pointed out by the arrows but I couldn't tell you what it is. Why did your doctor have the ultrasound taken, and what did the radiology report say?

Well thank you for the reply. I've had severe pain in ruq for about 2 yrs. I only had elevated enzymes once. This last hepatologist is the one that said it was the angle of the instrument, but that's when I went back and compared the two to confirm his theory. It now seems very doubtful that's the case...

Sorry if this posts twice.... I've had severe ruq pain for 2 years, elevated enzymes only once, and an enlarged spleen. The reports have gone from fatty liver to steatosis vs fibrosis, but nothing on this mass as though they missed it. I found it upon my review and asked my last hepatologist about it and he's the one that said it was probably just the instrument. It didn't make much sense to me so I went back to compare both my ultrasounds and it's in the same spot on both. Thatt just seems a little too coincidental to me.

Perhaps you should discuss getting a new ultrasound done to verify the finding - or maybe an MRI which should definitely rule out any lesions

Hey, I showed the pics to my ob today and she says its something too,
Unfortunately I can't do more test till after the baby, but the pain is unbearable.
I just don't understand why my liver enzymes are normal. Thanks for your insight. I appreciate it truly.
