Symptoms of dengue include high fever(can be as high as 104F or 40C), chills, pain upon moving the eyes, muscle and joint ache, swollen lymph nodes. Painful aching in the legs and joints occurs during the first hours of illness. The temperature rises quickly as high as 104 F (40 C),
A few days after fever starts, flat, red rash may appear over most of the body. Blood tests will help confirm the diagnosis of dengue. Aside from complete blood count, a blood test that determine the presence of antibodies or dengue may also be requested.
