Red urine and diarrhea

My husband was sick for three days with diarrhea, fever and his urine were kinda red in colour. After the third day he has recovered completely. Its been several months and he hasnt experienced any other symptom after tha day. Is it something serious? Should i be worried? What could this be? Any answer would be appreciated. Thank you for your question. If the symptoms are completely resolved and he feels perfectly healthy now, it is likely that he had a gastrointestinal (stomach ) infection which passed in due couse. If he is still experiencing symptoms, he needs to see the doctor.
