Lump on upper most part of thigh

???I have a large lump, about 3 inches long & an inch wide at the upper most part of my thigh, Just below the hip joint. It's quite painful. I went to the ER & they drew blood to see if it was a blood clot, but the test was negative. They suggested I go home and use ibuprofen and heat. I did and it just got bigger. It's been there for close to four weeks now. On top of this, I'm starting to suffer from occasional nausea, back pain & I just feel strung out all the time. I take depakote & seroquel but I don't think this is a side effect from that. I don't take any other medications. Anyone have any idea of what it might be? It's quite tiring. :'(

Thank you for your question. Any growing lump needs to be properly evaluated and diagnosed. You'll need to see the doctor again - in addition to physical examination, your may need to order some radiological studies, lab studies and possibly a biopsy of the lump. Please talk to your doctor and make sure this gets proper attention.
