Hi,
My mom broke her back on vacation 7 years ago. She received some cadaver bone. Two years ago she developed HER 2+ breast cancer w/ liver and bone mets(including the area she broke her back). Is it possible she got breast cancer from the cadaver bone? Obviously we know nothing about the person who donated. If they had breast cancer.
The only BC in her family was 2 aunts and 2 cousins(all maternal side). 2 cousins are now cancer free, the one aunt died from a stroke, the other from BC but only because she never went to a doctor.
I find it hard to believe she had a family history of BC, usually they're concerned w/ sisters or mothers who have it. I find it hard to believe she got it from the bone transplant but it has been the plot of some tv shows lately.
