My husband is 27 yrs. old and recently he has started to sweat really bad in his sleep. I have to change the sheets almost every night. The room is at a cool temp. He only wears boxers, so he's not wearing too many clothes. Most of the time he doesn't even cover up with a blanket ot the sheet. He doesn't show any signs of having diabetes. What could be causing this? Are there any "home" remedies we can try before going to a dr?

Welcome,

Night sweats can be caused by several things or a combination of things. If his sweats are continual he maybe should be seen for a complete examination and testing to get to the cause. Heres a link for some causes. Best of Luck.

My partner, who was 31 at time I met him had recently started to get bad night sweats, he had always been a hot sleeper so he didn't worry too much about it, but this coupled with sudden weight loss and feeling exausted all the time, we should have had it checked out sooner but he just thought he was getting old. He bumped his ribs on the stairwell at work & was still sore hours afterward so they insisted that he go for an X-Ray and that was how we discovered that he had hodgkins lymphoma. It is only something that my partner had but it may be something to check out with your gp.

Goodluck!
