Hello Dr.Joshua,
I have been using cell phones for almost 4 years now and i have recently noticed that if I talk for more than an hour per day over the phone, within a week a painful cyst forms in the inside of my ear , It goes away gradually if I switch to hands-free while attending calls.
I am afraid it is due to the radiation, I have no clue if it has any long term effect on my brain!
Please advice.

Hi- you might be interested to read a previous Q&A article:

I doubt that any acute problems such as cysts could be caused by cell phone radiation.

Thank you very much for your reply.
Would you recommend seeing a doctor in this case? I ask this since I don't have that painful cyst now,but had a black out two years ago & had taken all scans possible of my brain with very normal results. Am afraid if all these are correlated.

Dear SCN- seeing your own doctor is always the best thing to do when you are concerned about your health!

Exactly I was thinking about this too. So far there have been no cases reported that can be said to be a problem due to the cell phone radiation. But lets not forget there was a time when a lot of hue and cry were raised for the use of cell phones and some health advocates were convinced that these are harmful for our health. So I thought why not ask the doctors here about this, can health related problems from cell phones really arise?

yea real serious probs can happen when stupid peolple use the cell phone when they drive , i even watched one woman take her hands off the wheel to hold the cell phone and light a cigarette. what talent!
i guess that doesnt actually answer your quest, though....
