Last Friday while in martial arts training, I blocked a kick incorrectly and took a hard impact on my right arm right underneath the little ball part on the wrist. It was excrutiating pain and it swelled up considerably. I thought it was just another bad bruise, since I had already recently healed from a bad forearm bruise. I wrapped and iced it all weekend. I'm not really in too much pain and the swelling goes down everyday but I'm concerned if I could have possibly fractured in that area. I can function with that arm in every way except there is occasional throbbing pain in that area, seems to be pressure based though like bending my wrist for too long holding something,I.e. my cell phone, but even then its just barely noticable. I do have a buldge there on my arm and a small bruise visible in the area. It went numb the day it happened some what in that area. How will I know if its worse than just a possible bone bruise over time?

Hi and welcome to the forum. I'm afraid that I can only recommend you to visit your doctor. A doctor's assessment and imaging procedures such as x-ray are the best ways to find out the extent of damage to your soft tissues or bones. The treatment will be based on the findings on the x-ray and your doctor's evaluation.
