Hi there,

Okay so sometime last year I went to my GP because I was annoyed with a small rash on the top of my left breast, it was itchy or anything but it was annoying me as it was on line where to tops stopped. He gave me an anti-fungal cream but to be honest I didnt use it more than twice. I really should have I know.
So I went back and got a different doctor and they gave me more creams, I dont think anyone actually "examined" it but one doctor did look at it and prod it.The first doctor told me that it is very possible its just a scar that will always be there. I went again later because I noticed a white "C" or a ring if you like, inbetween my breasts but again on my left breast. He didnt even look at it, as i described it he said it was an fungal thing and i got more cream.
I dont know where else to ask, I am 19, I have large breasts (could be why?) and have faded stretch marks on both breasts. Sometimes the left side of my breast hurts like ive proded a bruise but.. could it be muscle???? lIke a torn muscle? (the pain, not the mark)/
Does anyone know of any websites where I can ask around so I have information? I am fearful this is breast cancer, does anyone know any health side "effects" other than to do with the breast itself?
(I have developed a phlegm cough in the mornings since January, i've felt odd since).

Ps i have took a photo of it and put a black box around where it is (look inside the black box);

Please Please help.

I think you should trust your doctor's evaluation, and try not to worry. Doctors won't prescribe medicines without a strong basis, they are very careful with those.

Sometimes women experience breast pains because of hormonal changes. In addition, women with large breasts may have discomfort related to the size of their breasts. Here's a link for more information: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/breast-pain/DS00760/DSECTION=causes

You're welcome. By the way, here's a link about breast self exam: http://breastselfexam.ca/section2slide2.html if you notice any changes in the breast tissue, you should consult your doctor. Keep in mind that most lumps are benign, meaning non-cancerous. Here's a blog entry about breast lumps: http://www.drjoshua.com/2008/12/06/breast-lump/
