My husband developed this strange rash about 4 months ago. It started out as a red spot near his belly button. We originally thought it may be a bite. However, it never went away and more started popping up on his upper legs and chest. They itch a lot but don't really hurt, he says a few of them are sore, but I think that may be from scratching. He saw a doctor and they said that it may be excema or psoriasis. Gave him some meds and sent him home. That was 2 months ago. Now however they are all over his back, chest, upper arms and upper legs. There are a couple very small ones on his neck and lower legs also and in each armpit they are very very large. They look like red spots. They are bright red and slightly puffy, but not much. Many of them are pretty small, however quite a few are the size of half dollars or a little larger, and there are also quite a few about the size of a nickel. They did not get any better with any of the meds or the creams he gave them. I attached a pic of some of them on his back. If anyone can help,I would appreciate any ideas you can give me on what may be the cause of these and what we can do to get rid of them.

I think your husband should go back to the doctor who examined him months ago to find out if there are other medicines that could help relieve his symptoms.

Could be an allergic reaction to the meds.. I am not sure what it could be!!! I just was diagnosed with PLEVA and it started out as a red slightly raised rash, but I m sure that is not what you have! I think the best thing to do is go to a doctor as soon as possible before it gets worse!..
