I've had this for quite a long time, however for awhile have been getting frequent recurring outbreaks about every 6 weeks or so either at the right corner of my lip or on the bottom of my outer lip (toward the right side), it starts out feeling like a pimple but breaks out into multiple tiny cluster sores, and then forms into a couple of big fever blisters.

It is not HSV-1 or 2. I've been recently tested by blood work (IgM & IgG both).

Whatever this is, comes with severe extreme fatigue and sleepiness. I sleep all day, wake up, and then break out on my lip. I'm thinking maybe it could be due to an autoimmune disease ???? I have had chronic fatigue/pain for 13 years.

So what else causes fever blisters other than HSV or stomatitis? I know of nothing that could be triggering these outbreaks.

Aside from infections, recurring mouth sores may also be due to an inflammatory disorder that can affect the blood vessels and various organs of the body. Here's a link for more info: http://www.merck.com/mmhe/sec05/ch069/ch069e.html

Some skin diseases can also cause mouth sores. I recommend that you consult your doctor to find out what has been causing your symptoms.
