Whenever there is a weather front comming through I have such horrible headaches for days before that I can't function at all. I live in NC but when the hurricanes start approaching anywhere near FL I almost die. Now we are expecting some rain and a 20 degree drop in temp. and I have had what feels like a mgraine for two days. Nothing helps. I am on Topamax and none of the migraine meds help. Now,I am not suppose to take Relpax or Maxalt because I take Cymbalta also, so there is some kind of interaction. My neck hurts excrutiatingly and the pain is all through my head, especially up the back and in my temples and behind my eyes. Sometimes, it hurts so bad it feels like a blood vessel is just going to explode and I am going to have a stroke or die from a clot blocking the blood flow. I just can't explain how bad the pain is. Is there anything that can be done for a headache caused by and act of Nature?
Thank you,
Morgaine

Hi,
Sure wish I knew your answer. One of my family members gets awful headaches but only during certain months of the year. She like you takes medications which really just barely take the edge off. She tries to rest, take her medication and still function as best she can. Then as quick as the headaches started they disappear. Hers is alot in the back of the lower head like she has a weight hanging from it. She thinks its something in the air this time of year say between August and October that doesn't agree with her. Of course there are so many irritants its hard to pinpoint to blame just one.
Wish I could help, maybe its the barometric pressure during hurricane season or fronts moving in. Who knows?

Hope you get some relief,
