nausea

i have suffered with nausea every day for the last 4 years, it's worse when i try and eat because i start to heave, it's kind of a heavy feeling in my stomach, i do sometimes get a aching kind of pain in my lower left rib like something is trying to push through from the inside, i have noticed that i shake alot more when the nausea gets worse, i have been to the doctors, and he said that i have a stomach ulcer with dispepsia, but have not had an endoscopy as i'm scared that i will be sick, i have taken medication for it which the symptoms do stop but come back within a few weeks. i am finding also that i am getting weaker in my arms, i held a 6 month baby for 10 mins and found afterwards that i couldn't stop my left arm shaking when eating or drinking after, i don't know if these symptoms are related in any way. can you help shed any light on this?

Hi loucar,

Welcome to the forum. You really should follow through with your Dr.'s request for endoscopy. Your constant symptoms and weakness could all be related. You sound as if you can hardly eat because of nausea and this alone can make you weak and effect your whole system. Please see your Dr. and follow his treatment of your ulcer, he will need to do the endoscopy to rule out other conditions, and this way better treat you so you can enjoy eating again and regain your strength. Left untreated could leave to very serious complications.
