Kariva and abdominal pain

I posted in the wrong spot sorry. I had a reaction to the shot and the patch so I am now on kariva I am having abdominal pain, tiredness, dizzness this all began over a month ago. I have been on Kariva for like 3 months I have been feeling really out of it and don't know why? Any suggestions?

Thank you for your question, Evita. With any hormonal medication it is possible to experience unpleasant side effects. The symptoms you describe could be caused by any number of reasons, estradiol and desogestrel (Kariva) treatment being one of them. I recommend that you talk to your doctor and have the symptoms evaluated, and if all seems well, consider switching to another pill.
