It feels like theres a small lump In my throat when I swallow spit but I have no pain no constant cough no trouble swallowing it's just annoying by the way I am 18 and I smoke and drink ( I don't drink alot) but I have done so for about two to three years and it hasn't gotten any worse but I just have been scaring myself into thinking it's cancer so if you have any idea what it could be or if you have gone through the same please let me know asap it's really freaking me out any help would be greatly appreciated

i used to have this lump feeling in my throat about a year ago. i went to see a doctor but unfortunately she couldn't find the problem and just gave me antibiotic instead. i've been a heavy smoker since i was 15 and decided to quit last year after i a felt lump in my throat and right after that i quit smoking and the lump eventually disappeared. to make the story short, partly i believed that it has something to do with smoking.
I get the same thing, but the doctor has told me my sinuses tend to run constantly due to my allergies. I would get it checked out to be sure.
