Pneumothorax (lung collapse) is a known although rare complication of laparoscopic gall bladder surgery, usually due to inadvertent damage to the diaphragm. This is actually carbon dioxide pneumothorax, as the abdomen is filled with carbon dioxide for laparoscopic surgery.

I agree with what Drjoshua said. The main reason why a patient who undergo with gall bladder surgery its because of Laparoscopic or also referred as laparoscopic cholecystectomy. You abdomen will expand by pumping carbon dioxide and thats why you collapsed.

Actually it can be a medical mistake. Probably they damaged pulmonary tissue. The other reason can a lung disease.

I had my gallbladder removed in one year ago . after that I could not digest a few things that were difficult and had loose motions to several times a day. I used to go hungry two days as I did not want to go to the bathroom after eating or drinking anything.

As with all types of plastic surgery, liposuction should not be taken half-heartedly. The procedure itself requires incisions and sutures and as mentioned previously referred to plastic surgery in general, is not really a long recovery time. Facial liposuction surgery is an excellent procedure that can benefit those who want to remove unsightly fat deposits from localized areas of the face.
