I had a left inguinal orchiectomy for testicular cancer, around 2 weeks after the procedure I noticed a palpable vessel running down my penis which I believe was a nerve as I had some nerve pain towards where it ended(which was just before the gland), I also have slight nerve iritation/numbness at the base of the penis on the left side.
Although the vessel/nerve apeared to return to normal after about a month, my penis seems to of been affected, it apears twisted which is always noticable, and it seems to be around the same area where the nerve/vessel seemed to of ended. By the way I believe that nerve was the left dorsal nerve wich runs along the top of the penis from the pelvis area where the insiscion was made. I dont believe it is peyronies as my penis seems to twist to the right and the nerve/vessel was on the left.
I have had this problem for quiet a while now and it is showing no improvement, the twisting became aparent when the vessel apeared and worsened when the vessel was no longer palpable or visable.
I was wondering if you think it is possible nerve damage can change the structure of the tissue it is leading to (chronic/longterm swelling of non fatty tissue for example). And should it subside?
Is there anything you can suggest such as injections into the nerve in the pelvis area or creams.
Thank you.
