Hi:
I found a small lump behind my left ear 10 days ago. Since I've found the lump behind my ear, I have started having headaches, feeling dizzy (vertigo), and feeling nausea (the feeling you get after getting off a spinning amusement park ride). It seems to get worse as the day wears on. I also am running a low grade temperture. I went to see my GP on Monday and she said the lump behind my ear was a lymph node and that I had fluid in my ears. She put me on Avelox. That was 5 days ago, but I am still having all the same symptoms (headache, dizziness, nausea, fever). I tried sleeping on a heating pad (on my sore ear) to see if the pain would go away, but that did not help at all. Do you have any ideas or suggestions of what could be causing this or what I can do to feel some relief?
Thanks again!
