I am experiencing something a little odd since yesterday. this started quite suddenly then died away and this morning, there it is again.

It is getting me a little worried. I have some numbness from the lower part of my head (upper neck) to the upper part of my back on only the right side.

I have been carrying a laptop bag around for just the last couple of days and am wondering if this can actually cause such symptoms.

Numbness on the lower part of the head may caused by irritation of some nerves in that area. Some of the condition that may cause such symptoms include: spinal disorders, injuries and vascular changes.
