Hi all,
Six months ago, my dad (he is 60) was in a bad car accident and fractured his neck (odontoid/C2). He had an anterior cervical fusion with two screws. at the three month follow up, the Dr said it had not started to fuse at all. Now at six month follow up, the Dr says it still has not fused/healed at all! The good news is it is stable because the screws have not moved, but if (or when) they shift he will have to do another surgery. he also said it may never heal! Has anyone heard of this? Can someone safely live with a broken neck that is only being held together by two screws? Is there still a chance that it will fuse? Im sooo worried and scared. Thank you

SHame on you for using my reach out for support to air your views or whatever you were rambling about. This is a forum where people go to find support and answers for SERIOUS MEDICAL conditions and for you to exploit that says a lot about your character.

May be it would be better for him to wear a special corset for the neck.

Hi i broke my arm over 3months ago the doctor said i had broken a small bone just below my elbow he said it was the bone that u twist ur arm outwards with they said that i didnt need it in plaster because where the bone was broken it was compact in other bones. i was just wondering what the normal healing time was for this injury as i still cannot strighten my arm and i am still getting pain. If anyone could help me with this thank you very much.

Hi, I have a carlton Rusmusson that the handle is broken.I have heard it is a common problem. I really like this racket and would like to restore it. Anybody knows if it is possible for me to replace the broken handle with one on another non carlton racket. And if the answer is yes, how do I do it?

Thanks

What does your Dr. say , good question to ask him/her as they are the Dr.s. As far as your racket get a new one. lol

Hi Hong,
so Carlton refused to replace the racket,
which Ive sent you?
I really was quite sure,
that they would replace it,
because that broken handle problem
has got nothing to do with the question,
where you did purchase the racket.
