Does anybody know what elevated levels of the following can be indicative of:

Blood calcium, alkaline phosphatase, potassium, RBC and hematocrit?

The only thing I have found that all of them have in common has to do with "bone". 2 days ago they did a test regarding the "alkaline phosphatase" and it was determined that at least that elevation was due to the bone but what that could mean is anybody's guess. They've scheduled a bone density test for next week.

Hi, sorry I've missed your post. How did the bone density scan turn out?

Well, we already know that I have osteoporosis - the bone density test just confirmed that it's gotten much worse. It has actually improved in my hip but my back is a mess. :-\ That's all I know so far. Right now I'm more concerned with the biopsy results I'm waiting on regarding the 2nd colon polyp in 2 years that they've removed. The first one was found because we were trying to find out why I was having so much trouble with my bowels, this one was found because my FOBT came back positive and on top of that I once again have H Pylori. As if dealing with Lupus the last 10 years wasn't bad enough. But hey - I'm still kicking and screaming and that's all that matters! Wish me luck.
