Bleeding from rectum and vagina.

Today my issue is with my Mother. She's 45 and is on a lot of meds, and has health problems. We just finished moving 2 days ago; 2 days ago she noticed she was bleeding from her vagina and her rectum. She has not had a period in 6-8 years... And she feels like she has to walk slightly bent over. She also said she feels kinda flu like. What could this be? Should we go to the doctor/hospital... and if you need anymore information I'd be glad to give it to you.

Sorry to hear about your mom's discomfort. I suggest that you bring her to the doctor at the soonest possible time to find out what has been causing her bleeding. Bleeding is one of the side effects of anticoagulants. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anticoagulant) Other organs like the stomach may also bleed. Over time, bleeding may lead to life-threatening conditions like anemia.
