I had unprotected oral sex with this woman (we did each other) on 8/3, 3 days later I found out she is HIV.
On 8/7 I had a Proviral HIV DNA by PCR Testing done (they probaly didnt test it until the 8th or 9th) which came back non reactive then on 08/10 or 8/11 I had my doctor take blood to do a regular HIV test which came back negative. I hear good things and bad things about Proviral HIV DNA by PCR. I heard they had a lot of false positives and that is the test i need to take for my circumstances. I'm thinking about getting a 3rd test done on the 14th. Should I get a third test?
