am in a mess

hi Dr ,
thats my first visit to your forum , am in a real mess
hope that i find some answers:smile:
i have a history of nervous colon
from 45 days i suffered from infectious monocelioses caused by epstian bar virus it takes 3 weeks to be in good health my spleen enlarged to 15.5 cm liver to 17.5 cm with sgpt 194 (from 30days) now am ok , sgpt decreased no high temparature ,except i feel discomfort in the left stomack (side just dicomfort no pain ) it comes and go
is it related to colon or spleen ?

Based on your description alone I really can't say what's causing your abdominal discomfort - have you scheduled a follow-up with your doctor? It's important to talk to your own doctor about these concerns. I'm glad you are on the way to recovering from mononucleosis, with time I'm sure you'll make a full recovery. If you get new symptoms, please talk to your doctor.

i made an ultra sound yesterday , the report indicated decrese in spleen & liver size every thing is ok -thanx to God- , and the DR gave me some medications for the colon , is that logic?

the abdominal ultra sound showed a mild dilatation left pelvicalyceal
kidney is ok every thing else is ok
is that the cause of my left abdomen side disconfort feeling? (no actual pain)
is that something severe? what are the possible causes?
may be because i had an enlarged spleen of 15.5 cm ???

I'm not an expert on this stuff, but pelvicalyceal dilatation may in some cases relate to urine retention, but I suspect mild dilatation may just be an incidental finding. Whether this finding has significance in your case, you'll have to ask your own doctor. Let us know what he says
