hello,
im nick and im new so i was hoping i could ask an orthopedic a question regarding my hand.
i injured my hand 4 days ago when a couch fell on my hand while i was moving. it fractured one of my carpal bones in my right hand near my pinkie finger. My hand got swollen but it went away in 3 days. when i had the accident it felt as if i had dislocated a bone around that area so i know its fractured for sure but my doctor wants to put a pin and do surgery. i wanted a second opinion from another doctor to give me his opinion on wether this type of frature really requires surgery. i feel like the injury does not feel too bad but i know that no pain doesn't necessarily mean nothing is wrong so if anyone could see my xrays and give me an opinion i would appreciate it.
