 Hi justgena,

I was reading and normal body temperature ranges between 96.8-99.5 F. Many people do have a low body temp. meaning below the norm which is 98.6 F Your body temp. does drop too during sleep. But hypothermia is considered in a temp. less than 95.0 F, at which point there would be significant changes, skin color, intense shivering and heart smptoms.

May I ask why you are taking your temp. so freq. if you feel fine? Unless your uncomfortable (cold or feel too hot or feel ill) a low body temp. may be normal for you. But I would get a new theromometer to be sure of your readings. You can search this topic too via AskDr.Joshua.com too.

Good Luck,

No need to repost. Dr. Joshua is very busy at present time. Did you by any chance as your Dr. your questions regarding your temp?

I am not a Doctor but I wanted to respond. My daughter is 42 and when she had surgery a couple of years ago they came in and took her temp. It was around 93 or 94 degrees. I asked her about that and she said that is what it usually is. The Doctor did not seem concerned but I know everything is different for everyone. Next time you visit your Doctor I would ask him about it.
