osteochondroma

I am a 20 year old female, soon to be 21. I had an osteochondroma removed from the side of my right knee was i was 12, in 8th grade. I was on crutches for 2 months. Lately i have been having some pain where the osteochondroma was removed. Is it possible it has returned? Is it possible its just scar tissue? I'm not growing so it shouldnt've returned. What should i do. Should i wait to see if it gets better, or its its just irritated. Is not that bad right now.

I've read that less than 5% of osteochondromas return after removal. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms just to be sure.

i think i will I'm just so busy with school. It was hurting when i walk but im going to give it the weekend to see if it gets better i mean even if it does i should probably still have it removed.
