I had a cerebral embolization done 9 days ago on my unruptured aneurysm, located in the right posterior communicating artery. Since I came out of the angio suite I have had a headache. It is located behind my right eye and goes to the top of my head down to the base of my skull. But again, only on the right side. Sometimes I get what may be described as a brain attack. Very painful and feels like a lot of pressure, that lasts for about 10 minutes. This happens on a day to day basis. My Doctor said the headaches should not be related to the coiling. The first 2-3 days, yes, but no more. I have a history of migraines, but ALWAYS on the left. I am also hypotensive, so I've been drinking a lot of fluid, including Gatorade.
Is there any way that my body is rejecting the coils?
Tylenol eases the continuous headache, but it never goes away. Esgic Plus, which I have for my "regular" migraines, won't touch the brain attacks. Any suggestions? :'(
Thanks
