Hello, I'm a 26 yo mother of 4. My first 2 were natural deliveries, third was emergency Cesarean due to long term placental abruption, PPROM, and finally uterine infection. My fourth was a V-BAC w/o complications. During my second pregnancy, one clinic found an abnormal PAP, but subsequent PAP's during that pregnancy and the next were normal. During my last pregnancy, I had another abnormal PAP result (Low Grade Cannot Rule Out High Grade) that was a year ago. I had another PAP at my 6 week check up in Sept (Low Grade Cannot Rule Out High Grade). I went in for a colposcopy Jan 4th and they did 3 biopsies. Those came back High Grade. I went in for a LEEP on Thursday. Yesterday and today, I have had lots of dizziness, to the point of seeing black dots and breathing shallow. I have pain twinges in my lower abdomen, near where my cervix and bottom of uterus would be. My head feels "full" and when I move my eyes or head, my vision does this "whoosh" thing where I see trails and feel like my head is moving really fast in a huge circle. Does this make sense? I'm sorry if it doesn't. I don't know if it is an infection (my hubby is worried it might be). Also, I'm taking Geodon 80mg 2X's daily, Vistaril 100 mg 2X's a day, Trazadone 100 mg @ bedtime, and Synthroid 50 mcg daily. I am more worried that this is being caused by an infection than my meds. But I guess it could possibly be my meds. Thank you in advance for any help you may offer.

Sorry your having all these symptoms hippieluv. Have any of these medications been newly added to what you already are taking? Do you have a fever? Medications can cause some bazaar reactions some even dangerous. I would call the Dr and tell him your symptoms as soon as possible. Also please type each of your medications in the search bar to read about them , esp. Geodon . Good Luck

The Geodon, Vistaril (I've been on before), and the Trazadone (I've been on before) were changed from Seroquel and Lamictal (haven't taken either since before Christmas) on January 11th (started Geodon at 40 mg 2X's daily increased to 80 mg 2 X's daily Jan 19). I've researched the meds and Geodon has dizziness listed as a side effect, but this didn't start until yesterday, which is 23 days from the initial start and 15 days from the Geodon increase. So, I'm not sure that it is the meds because I didn't notice any side effects from the meds, except a medicine hangover from the Trazadone. I don't have a fever, but I am pale. I did notice bright red blood yesterday when it all started, but it was only a little bit. From past experience, I know that bright red blood means active bleeding. They put stuff on to stop the bleeding after they burned me to stop it too. So, I'm not sure what is causing this dizziness. I left a message on the VM of the medical secretary at the psychiatrist's office, but nobody called me back. Thanks for the help!

I got my biopsy results and the edges were free from dysplasia and it was said to be HGSIL. They told me I have cancer, but want to wait to see what happens in June for a follow up PAP. I am scared and want to know if maybe I should have a hysterectomy done now to prevent it from being worse next time. I have 4 children, had difficulties with one of the pregnancies, and 7 miscarriages prior to the first child. I was diagnosed with endometriosis at one point and was put on Depo-Lupron. I also have a history of ovarian cysts. Would the wait and see approach be wise, given my histaory and weak immune system? Or would more aggressive treatment be ideal? I don't mean to doubt my doctor's, but I am scared and they do not give me much info, just "It's cancer" is all I got out of them. Please help and thank you for taking the time to read this.
