pain in arms and chest

My husband has had a pain in his left arm and chest for about 6 months now. About 5 months ago he had and ecg and stress test and they both came back normal but he still has the pain and it now goes down both arms and chest and on his right arm he has some sort of rash that is not itchy but looks terrible. Are there other heart tests that he should have done or could it be something unaccociated with his heart? He also has minimal energy and seems to sleep alot.

Sorry about your husbands symptoms. Pain for this long is enough to make you depressed. Has he been back to any Dr's in 5 months? Is he on any medications .He really should be seen again and a total work up. Even being referred to a specialist. Ask your Dr where to begin and what specialist he should see. Living with this pain and rash is just not exceptable and can really demote your quality of life. Good Luck and let us know.

I too get pain in my chest & arm, my left arm feels weak, i dont have much energy. Had ecg & stress test done everything else was normal except for my left atrium that is mildly enlarged...:unsure:

Hi Bunny,

Welcome to the forum. I was wondering if you are being treated for your heart findings with medications? You stated you had the tests and I'm assuming your Dr. knows of your arm and chest pain. If not he needs to know the symptoms and your lack of energy. Heres a link related, there are options for Left Atrium Enlargement, at any rate it should be closely monitored.
