My wife has degenerative, compressed cervical disc in C-1 Thru C-7. She is experiencing severe pain that therapy doesn't help with. She was diagnosed with this 18 months ago after a neck spasm led her to the doctor. She has had success in relieving past pain issues with therapy and Ultram maintenance. This time the therapy didn't work and the ultram has made it partially livable.
Is disc replacement for this severe of a case realistic. I don't know where else to go. She helps run our business and she has been in so much pain lately she's missed a lot of work. It tortures me to see her in this condition. Is there any real solution?

That's painful for you as a husband emotionally what did your doctor do with this one? have you consider taking surgery? Consult they will help you with this problem.

Treatment of this disease is not only placing the disc back, but also useful can be the following procedures: acupuncture, massage, non-steroid anti-inflammatory means and muscle relaxants. Does the therapy include all this?
