Missed periods not pregnant.

I have not had a period since december/january. I am defiantley not pregnant, i have done 2 test to double check an both negative.

I also find that no matter what i do i cant seem to lose weight, i am not masively over weight but its now harder than ever. My neck is also swollen and tight on one side.

I have no idea if these syptoms are related, I have not registered with a docotr since moving 1 year ago. I just wondered if anyone could shed any light on this before going to the doctor and coming across as over reacting.

There are many reasons for missed periods. It may be related to stress, some diseases or hormonal factors. I've read that being overweight can affect the hormones and may cause missed periods as well. You should talk to your doctor, to find out what has been causing your late/ missed period.
