to bruise or not to bruise???

i was roughly grabbed by the neck and jaw line a few days ago and although it is very sore there is no bruising. it definatly feels like a bruise but there are no marks. i was grabbed almost 2 days ago and the pain has not subsided. will i get a bruise in time or is it nothing to worry about?

You may not get a visable bruise but you may or could still have an injury of tissue or muscle, nerve etc. Best to be seen to see the extent of your injury esp., if the pain continues. Why were you grabbed in this manner if I may ask?
