I have had a kidney infection for 7 years now. I have been to MANY doctors and they all wont listen to me when I tell them I can NOT take oral antibiotics because I throw them back up EVEN WITH taking a anti nausea medication with it. I need to know what can I do?? is it true that you can take oral antibiotic anally? I am desperate here and need help, Ive been in pain for so many years and I fear my kidneys failing. Please tell me what I can do.

Hi. How did you know that you really have an infection? What are the symptoms that you have been experiencing?
Here is a link to a review about antibiotics given via rectal route: http://jac.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/full/43/2/177

Ive known because I had blood and urine tests done over the years. I will look at that link, thank you and I hope someone can come up with more help for me.
edited to add: I have blood in the urine on and off and extreme kidney and bladder pain, also urine has a very
strong odor like the smell of fecal matter but most of the time a strong odor of sulfer (the smell of a burn match kinda but stronger) (spelling?)

Doctors know basic things like those already.
