Is pregnancy likely?

I had sex on the third day of my period. We used a condom, however he did finger me afterwards and there is a possibility that there could have been sperm on his hand. Is it likely that I am pregnant?

It's highly unlikely that you'll get pregnant when you had sex on the third day of your period. This is because when your period comes that's the time that the lining of your uterus (bed where the baby would be living for about 9 months) will shed off. Also, your body normally makes sure to produce an egg only at a time when your uterus is healthy and ready for the possibility of pregnancy, and not when it's shedding its lining. If your period comes regularly every month, you can even be more sure that pregnancy is not likely to happen.
