I am 29 years old with 3 biological kids and 3 adoptive children, i have alot of stress that i think i deal with well but my concern is that in the past few months i have blood vessels breaking for no reason. I am not straining when this happens. They have broke in my legs, arms and fingers. Its not like vericose veins it is one big ow and then it turns blue black and green instantly. I am worried something will break that i might need. Anyway I saw my local doc and she didnt know anything. my blood pressure was fine ( 118/70) but at nine in the morning my heart rate was 111. normal is 77. I wasnt even stressed that early. can anyone give me a clue on this. I have lost 30 pounds naturally in the past 4 months and quit smoking because i thought that could be the culpuret. help jeana

Did you do anything prior to taking your pulse rate? Pulse rate could increase as a response to various situations like physical activity, a heavy meal and emotions.
But there are also various health problems that may cause this symptoms, like thyroid problems, anemia, heart-related conditions and even psychological disorders. There are medicines that are also known to increase pulse rate as a side effect.

Highly visible veins is one symptom of telangiecstasia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider_veins I am not saying that it's your exact condition, only your doctor can give you your diagnosis. If you are not satisfied with the way you have been managed by your local physician, then perhaps you should look for other doctors there in your region. There are still many conditions that may cause vein symptoms but it would require a detailed health history, physical examination and tests to arrive at a diagnosis.
