My brother has side effects to all bp medications, such as headache, nausea and swelling...is there a patch or any suggestions which may bypass the system???

There is a wide variety of medication for elevated blood pressure available. Please have your brother talk to his doctor about all the options. Keep in mind that exercise and weight loss are very effective in reducing blood pressure.

Unfortunately there is no patch to get rid of drug side effects, but with careful planning a suitable medication will be found.

As a matter of fact its best to check with your Dr. and his medication therapy for your BP. Also make him aware and get his ok if you are considering trying any herbal therapy. Many are not approved by the FDA and can have side efects/complications esp if combined with your regular meds.
