When I look at a vertical image (such as an 8' high white flag stick on the golf course) from a distance (100' - 200'), I see a small segment of it (perhaps 2" - 3") offset to the left (maybe an inch or so). I am 66 and have noticed this problem over the past six months. What could be causing this ?

Hi and welcome lbnja,

Have you had your eyes examined lately by an opthomoligist? I certainly don't know your answer but in your age group are always examined for Macular Degeneration, pressure inside the eyes etc. Once a year everyone should have their eyes examined for vision changes. Please don't wait and be seen. Good Luck. You may use the goolge search for eye problems as well.

This is actually horizontal offset. While it does not sound alarming, I agree with PurpleLady that you should see an ophthalmologist.
