I'm a 19 yr old women whose has been having her period since age 11. I'm late this month, I've never been before. I'm on no medication, I've never had sex (I've fooled around but we were both fully clothed in denim). I had no stress until this. It's four days, the only change in my habits this moth is in my eating times. My normal pre-period symptoms are lacking too, my face broke out and I'm hungary but nothing else. Is there any reason for this or am I having an off month?

Hi

There are times when you are delayed with just no reasons. Why don't you wait for 3 -4 more days. And if it doesn't happen, just go to a a doctor to get it checked.

Thanks

Thanks... a new symptom has occurred. I've been cramping all day, but nothing comes of it... it keeps turning into gas. I'm only worried because I'm always so regular, and with my luck my boyfriends seman would make it through two layers of denim.

hi there..how long have you been delayed?maybe you should wait a couple of days, then if you still have no period, better go see your ob gyne..maybe an ultrasound of abdomen would help them to diagnose you

There are a lot of factors that can cause late periods. It could be due to stress, hormonal imbalance, it may also have something to do with your cervix or uterus. I understand that you are worried and I hope you would find time to visit your doctor to find out what has been causing your late or missed period.

Of course there are reasons for your delay. It might just be due to hormonal imbalance for which you need to make slight changes in your routine or diet.
