Hi EllieB,
In my opinion, I wouldn't suggest taking any supplement that is not FDA approved or at least has sufficient scientific studies behind it, such as hoodia. There has been some reports of bad side effects, including damange of the liver, which could be problematic especially with your medications, because the liver is responsible for breaking down all the toxins in your body. While hoodia may cause you to lose weight, I think it is nearly impossible to keep it off without making true lifestyle changes such as eating more healthy and getting more execise. Best of luck!

You can also take other herbal things like Basil leaves extract and Neem leaves
because Tulsi or basil leaves extract and Neem leaves extract is valuable in treatment of diabetes. Neem contains ingredients which stimulate the dormant and inactive pancreatic cells to produce insulin.
