my boyfriend is 21 and has cerebral palsy he had surgery on his legs when he was young and just recently one of his legs has started to randomly give out on him. he said he cant put full pressure on it. he is worried that soon he will be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. based on this what do you think the chances would be for him that he would have to be in a wheel chair forever?

Hi. Cerebral palsy is a non-progressive condition. A doctor's assessment and diagnostic procedures are necessary to find out what has been causing the weakness of his leg. Unilateral leg weakness could be an indicator of so many health conditions ranging from depression to nerve-related illnesses.
