Red in between butt cheeks

Hi. For quite some time (over a year), my skin has been red & itchy between my butt cheeks (where each side of the butt touches). Lately, I had the suspicion that it was jock itch and used some antifungal cream (I've had jock itch around the scrotum in the past). However, I've been using the cream for a couple of weeks and although I think it has lightened, it has not gone away. What else could it be? It doesn't seem bumpy. Is this normal?

I'm a 29yo male.

Could be a yeast infection and you may need a dr visit and a prescription to be rid of it. Good Luck

Have your doctor do a KOH fungal scraping to see if it is Tinea. If so you need a prescription-strength antifungal such as Lotrimin.

Also have yourself checked for diabetes.

hi..i can imagine the feeling having this,you must be very uncomfortable..to end your suffering you should see a doctor to prescribed you the right medication,self medicating is not a good idea since this does'nt work for you..
