Hi. I am 29 years old female. Several times withing the last 4 years I had specific episodes with unusual symptoms. My previous doctor has told me that I should be only concerned if this happens often, that my symptoms can be caused by a neurological disorder, which I ssupposably was born with.
The symptoms: it starts with a pulsating dot (I say “pulsating” because it feels like I look through running water), the dot becomes wider within minutes, then everything starts pulsating. After that I'm not able to see far on my left and right, as if I look through a narrow tunnel. I mostly get dizzy. Sometimes numbness in my left arm occurs, followed by numbness in my right arm and legs. This all can continue from a few minutes to about a half an hour. One time the symptoms were accompanied by chest pain. At that time I was struggling to stay conscious. Then vision clears up and headache occur (mostly on the right side of my head).
I'm wondering if I should pay attention to this and get my new doctor to perform some tests or should I leave this alone because it could be just a random condition that is not a sign of any disorder?
